Hello Game Devs,
This update comes with new features, fixes, and performance boosts!
Updates for everyone:
- Fix: Changing the Tileset on the fly is now reflected on the minimap
- Performance: Closing the menu will no longer unnecessarily redraw the minimap
Updates for the Standard version:
- Zoom. The Minimap can show the full map or zoom in. Vehicles and Events that are too far away from being seen can stick on the Minimap’s edge to give the player some orientation.
- Scale. Until the last version, all sprites automatically scaled with the map, which made the player representation tiny on large maps and vice-versa. You can now switch it off and give the player or event a fixed size on the minimap.
- Temporarily change the player's or vehicle's design. You, as the game dev, can decide that the player or a vehicle should temporarily change its appearance on the Minimap. That comes in handy, e.g., when you want to use a different picture once the player finds a torch while exploring a cave, or you want a different portrait when the party leader swaps.
